Lakshmanan (Laks) Alagappan is a senior capital markets professional with significant progressive global experience in various business functions including strategy, product management, project/program management, business analysis, user experience, vendor management, and quality. Laks has gained invaluable experience in a variety of industries working for global conglomerates such as GE, software behemoths such as Oracle and leading capital markets vendors such as Capco and SmartStream Technologies. Laks holds a mechanical engineering degree from National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India, a post-graduate degree in information technology from IIIT, Bangalore, India and has recently graduated with an MBA from Cass Business School, University of London. During the MBA, Laks specialized in strategy and finance and travelled to a number of regions such as China, middle-east/north-Africa and south-east Asia (Singapore and Vietnam) to study the geo-political and socio-cultural aspects of doing business in these regions. In all, Laks has travelled to 22+ countries in his career spanning over 15 years. Laks has been based in the UK for 6 years.

Lakshmanan is a Financial Information Associate (FIA) certified by FISD, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by project management institute (PMI) and a Certified Green Belt in Six Sigma

Laks takes keen interest in children’s healthcare and education and has raised significant funds for organizations championing such causes.
